The Federal Fishing Council of Argentina incorporate changes in the management measures for the Patagonian toothfish fishery.

In a new meeting of the Patagonian toothfish Fishery Monitoring Committee, the issue of incidental catch of the species on vessels without quotas was addressed. With the contribution of information provided by the National Institute of Fisheries Research and Development (INIDEP), the Federal Fisheries Council resolved to limit the incidental catch to 5 tons per fishing trip, while maintaining the 1.5% limit of the total catch for each trip.
