Starting next May, Regulation 4/2023 on net marking will come into effect. The objective will be to reduce the environmental impact of lost or discarded fishing nets in the Argentine Sea, align with FAO regulations, and seek the ecological sustainability of the marine environment and its resident species.
Starting on May 1st, it will be mandatory to mark fishing gear in Argentina.
