Scientist of INIDEP have concluded a workshop on stock assessment of Patagonian toothfish

In mid-August, Dr. Juan Carlos Quiroz (Chile) provided the third part of a training workshop on the CASAL 2 stock assessment method at the facilities of the National Institute of Fisheries Research and Development (INIDEP). CASAL 2 is a software used to assess fish populations, particularly Patagonian toothfish. The workshop was funded by Argenova, Estremar, San Arawa, and Pesantar, companies that are part of the Patagonian toothfish Fishery Improvement Project (FIP).
