The Federal Fisheries Council of Argentina established maximum annual catch quotas for various fish species like hake, ling, hoki, southern blue whiting, patagonian cod and others for 2024, through resolutions 12/2023 and 13/2023 published in the Official Gazette. For the Patagonian toothfish (Dissostichus eleginoides), 3700 tons were set.
