The Southern and Subantarctic Demersal Fish Fisheries Program of the National Institute for Fisheries Research and Development (INIDEP – Argentina) received supplies and instruments to carry out the reproductive ecophysiology and stable isotope analyzes in Patagonian toothfish, for the study of the population structure of this species around South America, initiated two years ago within the framework of the Fishery Improvement Project (FIP). The equipment and inputs received constitute a contribution from the companies participating in FIP, implemented through the Sustainable Development and Fishing Center (CEDEPESCA), an institution that coordinates activities aimed at reaching the standard of the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).
INIDEP received supplies and instruments for analysis of reproductive ecophysiology and stable isotopes in toothfish.
