The World Wildlife Fund and Finance Earth have announced the launch of the Fisheries Improvement Fund (FIF), which seeks to generate more than $100 million in investments for fisheries improvements by 2030. The fund will be managed through repayable finance and aims to bring together industry partners to drive sustainable practices in the seafood industry. The announcement was made at the Seafood Expo Global 2023.
