Argenova once again called for the approval of the management plans for the MPAs.

In two submissions filed this week before the Council, the company once again requested regulatory definitions for the Namuncurá–Burdwood Bank and Yaganes MPAs, noting that the legal deadline for approving the management plans has long since expired. It also requested authorization for an experimental longline fishing permit to generate scientific information that would support the development of an effective regulatory framework.
