In the latest session, the Federal Fisheries Council (CFP) implemented a Specific Regime of Individual Transferable Quotas (ITQs) for the Patagonian toothfish (Dissostichus eleginoides) fishery. These quotas will last for 15 years and represent the continuation of the quotas held by the vessels participating in the fishery.
