The INIDEP Technical Report 16/26 characterized the fishery with a focus on the previous year. A total of 3,588 tonnes were landed, compared to a maximum allowable catch of 3,575 tonnes. Approximately 98% of the catch was obtained within the Patagonian Toothfish Juvenile Protection Area, and the proportion of juveniles remained below the established maximum threshold.
